Sheldon Cashdan
This book provides a systematic journey through the theory and application of object relations therapy. Using the premise of the therapeutic relationship as the catalyst for change, the analysis of the projective identifications and the progression of therapy is clearly described. The author also does an excellent job of highlighting the subtlety and function of the countertransference world. This text concludes with an engaging section on the use of fairly tale, novel, and film as therapeutic medium.
